The Steam listing requires a 64-bit Windows PC, DirectX 12 and 100 GB of free SSD storage. Its two hardware tiers target different settings and frame rates; neither is a benchmark of your individual PC.
Official hardware tiers
| Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| OS | Windows 10 64-bit | Windows 11 64-bit |
| CPU | Intel Core i5-10400 / AMD Ryzen 5 3600 | Intel Core i7-12700 / AMD Ryzen 7 5700X |
| RAM | 16 GB | 32 GB |
| GPU | RTX 2060 SUPER / Radeon RX 6600, 8 GB VRAM | RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB / Radeon RX 7700 XT, 12 GB VRAM |
| Storage | 100 GB available, SSD | 100 GB available, SSD |
| API | DirectX 12 | DirectX 12 |
The minimum target is 30 FPS at 1080p, Low settings, Quality upscaling. The recommended target is 60 FPS at 1080p, High settings, Quality upscaling. These are the developer’s targets, not our tested results, and are not claims about native-resolution rendering without upscaling.
Check before troubleshooting frame drops
Compare both system RAM and GPU VRAM; they are different memory pools. Confirm the installation drive is an SSD and has the stated available space. A graphics-card name alone does not show that the rest of the system meets the tier.
The launch response acknowledges stuttering and frame-rate drops and says optimization will continue during Early Access. It does not give a universal settings combination that fixes every system. For a startup fault, use the separate startup guide; for sustained performance issues, include your hardware and settings in the support report.
