Stat Points and weapon Traits have separate reset instructions. Do not assume that a free Trait reset also refunds character Stat Points for free. Start by identifying which allocation you want to change.
Choose the correct system
| Allocation | Where the recorded tutorial directs you | Recorded requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Character Stat Points | Character menu | A reset item |
| Weapon Traits | Reset button at the bottom of Traits | Described as free |
These extracted tutorials are dated October 24, before Early Access. Their cost descriptions are historical guidance, not a guarantee that the current confirmation will have the same terms. Read the live confirmation before accepting; stop if it asks for a resource you do not intend to spend.
Before resetting character stats
Open the Character menu and inspect the allocation you are trying to change. Note your current points and the derived effects you care about, then inspect the reset option and its item requirement.
The official progression article describes previewing the effects of stat investment. Use that preview when planning the replacement allocation. This page does not establish a free reset, an exact reset-item vendor or a repeatable currency farming route.
Before resetting weapon Traits
Open Traits and check that you are viewing the intended weapon's tree. The official progression article describes separate trees for each weapon, so inspect the selected weapon before changing branches.
Find Reset at the bottom and read the current prompt. After confirming on acceptable terms, check the available points and allocate the intended branch again. Test the changed skill behavior in a manageable encounter before changing several other systems at once. That makes it easier to tell whether the new Trait choice addresses your actual problem.
